Probate and Estate Administration

Probate and estate administration is the process by which a person's estate is settled after death. It involves proving that a will is valid, identifying and inventorying the person's assets, clearing the estate of debts and taxes, and distributing the property as the will (or state law, if there is no will) directs.

Why it matters

Your focus should be grieving—let us focus on the legal and financial parts of your loss.

You’re already going through a lot, and it’s our job to take some of the burden. We will guide you through the probate process, and do everything we can to leave you without much work on your own. We will work to understand your loved one’s estate and beneficiaries, while explaining to you how Texas law requires an estate administration to be handled. We will file required court documents, notify beneficiaries, notify any creditors, and help you complete the court ordered inventory. Finally, we will ensure distributions to beneficiaries are seamless.
